Dorcas was born and raised in North London to Nigerian parents. A victim of bullying in Primary school, this impacted her behaviour in secondary school.  “In school I used to get excluded all the time and a lot of teachers probably didn’t think I was going to make it to college let alone University.” She went on to disprove this belief and attended University of Bedfordshire and attained a degree in Criminology.
