We asked our Instagram followers to complete the phrase “My dark skin is…” and we were overwhelmed and surprised at the responses we got. Its safe to say that, in spite of all the adversity black people have faced in 2016, we are still #blackandproud. How black people manage to be so resilient and so robust, we can’t tell for sure. But maybe, it’s in our SKIN.
