Mecca Fowler (CheckoutMec)  is a Writer M-Lifestyle, born in Washington D.C. and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She is a passionate freelance journalist with a background in Marketing, Social Media and Writing. She loves reporting on entertainment, culture, and politics within our community. Her personal  philosophy is that black people from all diasporas should be loved and celebrated out loud across all media platforms. She loves to cook as a hobby and she’s a self-proclaimed foodie.
