Peter Olatuyi is the Founder and CEO of the digital publication, M-Lifestyle, a platform that uses a creative and artistic approach in showcasing the dynamic stories of ingenious millennials, or as he prefers to call them, renaissance youth. Peter’s passion for sharing these stories and giving young people a platform to share their opinions, serves as motivation for pursuing the continued growth and development of M-Lifestyle. Currently, Peter presides over an international team that produces content from both a millennial and global perspective. To this end, M-Lifestyle has garnered readers from around the world, who regularly share comments and stories of how the content shared serves as a source of inspiration, and encouragement to pursue their own successes.
Peter is recognized for implementing strategic plans to sustain and further develop M-Lifestyle’s mission and purpose. A progressive thinker, with first-hand knowledge of the every-day challenges confronted by millennials of color, Peter has launched several notable events. These programs have been aimed at empowering young people economically and fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship, while creating a community of innovators.
Since founding M-Lifestyle, Peter has also developed new business concepts and models, which help the organization to better, engage with their readers and subscribers. One recent endeavor has been the introduction of a podcast, known as M-Talk: The Millennial Show. This specific platform has attracted many individuals, which has led to the formation of mutually beneficial partnerships, such as giving other businesses a means to reach millennials and showcase their goods and services.
Peter’s extensive leadership experience, acquired through holding multiple executive positions in numerous organizations, has led to the building of collaborative relationships with community members, which have resulted in impactful change. His work has not gone unnoticed by those around him. Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Alumni’s African American Council has recognized Peter for his integrity, resilience, and service and named him the 2016 recipient of the Black History in the Making Award. In the spring of 2017, Peter was featured in an issue of Richmond Magazine. Additionally, he has been invited to speak at several functions on the topics of business, entrepreneurship and leadership.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and currently pursuing his MBA in business analytics.
